A note from Latrina

Hi, I’m Latrina.

For more than 18 years I have sat with couples, families, and individuals in some of their hardest seasons, especially families living with addiction, grief, and broken trust.

I believe in the therapeutic process, and I believe everyone has the ability to change. My hope is that our time together feels like stepping into the living room of a trusted family member: safe, comfortable, and welcoming.

Whether you come for therapy, coaching, a group, or a cohort, you do not have to leave your culture, your faith, or your story at the door. Bring all of it. We will do the work together.

Her why

Healing that is personal and relational.

Latrina’s work grows out of lived experience and a deep passion for relational healing in marginalized communities.

She has seen what happens when Black and Brown families are met with care that does not understand them, and what becomes possible when they are met with care that does. Life Essentials exists so couples, families, and individuals can heal without leaving their culture, their faith, or their story at the door.

“Healthy relationships require healed individuals.”
